Costa Rica's prosperity is leader in Central America

Costa Rica is the most prosperous country in Central America, according to a poll which places the country at number 37 out of 142.

It was also the country where governance and personal freedom grew the most over the past four years.

The strength in its system lies in the democratic government, the abolition of the armed forces and equality in human rights.
