Costa Rica's Racsa flies high in Internet and telecoms

Costa Rican state telecom Racsa has added services beyond its core business of domestic Internet installations.

The new lines of business include surveillance cameras for highways, satellite control of transport fleets, and management of bank information.

Last year alone, Racsa signed 379 contracts with other companies to supply such services
