Following the inauguration of the Costa Rican commuter train service between San José and Heredia two years ago, the service exceeds expectations of the national railroad company, Incofer.\
\
Now Incofer is moving full speed ahead with its plans to bring train services to more communities.\
\
A service is expected to be inaugurated to Cartago by the end of next year. The cost of restoring the service is estimated at $6 million, which is to be spent on cleaning and repair of the existing track.\
