Costa Rica's Solis vows to rebuild his cabinet

Costa Rican President Luis Guillermo Solis vowed to rebuild his cabinet by May 1 after his chief of staff resigned, becoming the fourth senior adviser to leave his administration this year.

Solis, who took office in May 2014, said on Thursday Chief of Staff Melvin Jimenez has experienced “enormous wear and tear” in the past year and that “his time in government is over.”
