Costa Rica seeks investments and trade in India

Costa Rica is seeking Indian investments and cooperation in the fields of automobiles, biotechnology and food products.

The two countries are negotiating an agreement to promote investment and bilateral business relations. During 2010 and 2011, trade between the two countries reached $156 million.

"There is a great potential for bilateral trade and investments in electronics, medical devices, farm food products and biotechnology," said Minister of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica, Anabel González.
