Costa Rica sees hopes dimmed but no catastrophe in sight

Donald Trump’s US government could have a negative impact on the Costa Rican economy, if Trump keeps to the pledges he made in his election campaign.

Perhaps the most significant impact will be on foreign investment, where Costa Rica, has been doing well but could fall foul of trump’s protectionist policies.
