Friday, January 21, 2011

A unit of the state-owned electricity company, the ICE, says it will be building "charge centres" for electric vehicles in the San José metropolitan area.

A total of 22 stations will be built – two for quick charges and 20 for slow – at a cost of $100.000.

Currently there are 260 electric vehicles circulating the streets, whose owners can now benefit from the charging stations.
