Costa Rica struggles to boost employment

Costa Rica is struggling to create enough jobs for the number of potential employees entering the market, Costa Rican daily La República reported.
Last year, 68,000 people entered the labor markets, but there were only 39,000 available jobs.
In order to balance the figures, the government will implement a program aimed at guaranteeing jobs, which includes workshops and training, said Víctor Morales, Costa Rica's Minister for Labor.
