Costa Rica to host top cruise-ship event

Costa Rica will host for the first time the Central America Cruise Summit, the most important cruise conference in the region; the event will take place in 2019 at the National Congress and Convention Center.

“Hosting this important event is a clear example of the work we have done in repositioning Costa Rica as a profitable destination for the cruise industry, which was an area we needed to strengthen. We have been present in the last two editions of Seatrade, the most important cruise event in the world, during which we have been able to work with the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) and we have had meetings with the representatives of the most influential and consolidated cruise lines in the world”, explained Mauricio Ventura, Minister of Tourism.
