Costa Rica to lure more foreign investment next year

Costa Rica plans to diversify its options for attracting foreign direct investment next year, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

The government will seek to hold trade talks with markets such as Colombia, Mexico and South Korea.

Last year, Costa Rica received $583 million in foreign direct investment, due to 43 new projects which created more than 7,000 jobs.
