Costa Rica unions promise strike to be bigger than last year's

A strike in Costa Rica, bigger than last year's 86-day stoppage, is being proposed by labor unions to oppose the law that restricts strikes and makes changes conditions for workers in the public sector.

Such a strike would be completely unjustified in view of the government's willingness to take part in a dialogue, the Labor minister said, La República reports in Spanish.
