Costa Rica visits regional fairs to set its sights on tourists from rest of Latin America
Costa Rica will be focusing on tourism from Latin America, as representatives of the sector prepare to participate in five tourism fairs in the region this year.
The first of the fairs will be September in Lima and in Mexico City.
The other fairs will be in Guatemala and Rio de Janeiro, in October, with the last in Buenos Aires in December.
Currently visitors from Latin America represent less than 18 percent of all tourists to Costa Rica.
