Costa Rica will hold global conference on manufacture of medical instruments

More than 100 executives from companies that make and sell medical instruments are to attend a symposium in Costa Rica on Medical Product Outsourcing.

The symposium, from May 11 through 13, will include companies from the United States, Ireland, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

Companies aiming to attend the event include Accellent, Allergan, Helix, Siemens, Smith & Nephew, St. Gobain, Tegra and Vention Medical. They will meet with four companies well established in the business in Costa Rica: Hospira, Boston Scientific, Hologic and BeamOne.
