Costa Rican bananas favored by European trade rules

Costa Rica is one of the countries named in a recent European Union reports, as a nation that will continue to receive favorable trading conditions with the European Union.

Notably bananas will maintain tariff advantages on entry to Europe.

The EU is the second-largest trading partner for Costa Rica.
