Costa Rican banks rapidly growing their network of branches

Banks in Costa Rica are growing their branch networks very rapidly.

The growth is concentrated in the San José metropolitan area. Shopping malls are the preferred locations for the new branches.

Investment in branches this year will be more than $3 million. Next year, the pace of growth is expected to increase.
