Costa Rican businesses are optimistic for 2014

Costa Rican businesses are optimistic for 2014, a poll by the University of Costa Rica showed.

Business leaders based their predictions on an improvement in the country's economy, adding that many sectors are expected to hire more workers, such as agriculture and services, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Optimism among business leaders grew 2.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
