Thursday, November 18, 2010
Costa Rica once more reduced its forecast for production in 2010-2011 because of heavy rainfall.
The Costa Rican Coffee Institute expects output of 1.56 million 60-kilo bags, down from the 1.66 million that was forecast ahead of recent storms.
Costa Rica is noted for its high-grade coffee crop. The revision is the second time so far.
