Costa Rican companies stay cautious on future

Most employers in Costa Rica continue to show caution about the course of business, according to the most recent Confidence Index, a survey of the Costa Rican Union of Chambers and Associations of Private Business.

The business confidence indicator, which points out how the employer sees economic activity during the current quarter, is stable in relation to the data shown in the previous quarter.

Among the reasons for the stability in business confidence is the sustained increase in exports.
