Costa Rican companies to be offered green loans

The government-owned Banco Nacional de Costa Rica has launched a new plan that finances projects for companies that preserve the environment.

The credits are earmarked for small companies in what will be a joint effort with the German development bank, KFW.

The aim is to boost companies that are involved in water management, renewable reources and conservation.
