Costa Rican construction faces uncertain year

Costa Rica's construction sector is seen growing between 7 and 10 percent this year.

But some 15,000 direct jobs are at risk of being lost if the government fails to reactivate public building projects.

Last year, construction in Costa Rica grew 1.7 percent, which is why the country's construction chamber has asked the government to boost public projects and ease access to credit.
