Costa Rican firms climb on $2 billion wave

The 23 percent annual growth in Costa Rican exports of medical instruments is opening a wealth of opportunities for local suppliers to the multinationals.

Last year, the exports amounted to more than $2 billion, up from $1.6 billion in 2014.
