Costa Rican megaport plans move forward
The Moín, Costa Rica, megaport project needs to meet only three requirements before APM Terminals, the company in charge of the project, can start construction, Costa Rican daily La República reported.
The first step is to finish a hearing with the residents of Limón, where the port is located, concerning the impacts of the terminal to the community.
The next step for APM is to obtain environmental licenses, and finally, a 2-kilometer road to be used for transporting construction materials for the port must be ready by February this year.
