Costa Rican ministry queries $70 million base prices for cellular tenders

The base prices to be listed for the Costa Rican cellular telephony tenders are being questioned by the deputy minister for telecommunications.

The base price of $70 million was set by the regulator, Sutel, for the frequencies in all three packages to be auctioned.

The Telecomunications Management Group (TMG) consultancy had suggested $60 million for the first and second packages and $66 million for the third.
