Costa Rican oil refinery expansion and modernization contract awarded to Australia-based company WorleyParsons

The Australia-based company WorleyParsons was awarded a contract for the project management team for the expansion and modernization of the state-owned refinery at Moín in Costa Rica.

WorleyParsons says it will utilize teams from its offices in the United States and China for the Costa Rica project.

The contract for design and engineering was awarded by a joint venture between the government-owned oil refinery, Recope, and Cina’s CNPC.
