Costa Rican prosecutor dies after shooting at his home

Costa Rican prosecutor Hans de la O Solís died early Thursday morning after being shot at his home in the southern part of the capital, San José.

Police confirmed that de la O, 49, was arriving at his home just after midnight when he was shot in the left cheek, forehead, left arm and shoulder.

He was taken to hospital but died at 4:10 am.
