Costa Rican retailers embrace Black Friday wholeheartedly. Record sales expected this year as interest grows

Black Friday’s popularity has spread to all of Costa Rica’s retail sector. Nothing seems to be able to curb enthusiasm for the new tradition.

Without much publicity, shops reported record sales for Black Friday last year, and this time they are going for more.

Last year, promotions were largely restricted to the major retailers but this year everyone wants to be involved.
