Costa Rican retailers say TV sets selling like hot cakes for World Cup
The true winners of the World Cup in Costa Rica are retailers, especially those selling television sets.
An estimated 2,000 television sets a week a been sold during the several weeks leading up to the World Cup.
The demand for television is also due to the combination of the Father's Day falling within the soccer tourney Prices can range from less than $900, though some sets range from three times as much.
