Costa Ricans tops for outsourcing

Costa Rican is the best place for outsourcing in Latin America, and 11th worldwide, according to Tholons’ Top 100 Outsourcing Destinations 2016.

In Central America, only Guatemala moved up in the ranking, going from 79 to 76, while Nicaragua and Panama stayed the same, in positions 83 and 99, respectively.

Neither Honduras or El Salvador was included in the survey.

India’s Bangalore is first worldwide, while Durban, South Africa, is last.

Labor cost and skill, intellectual property protection, and political stablity are some of the criterio used in the ranking (numbers in brackets indicate the global position of each city).
