Court seizes Petaquilla Gold assets to enforce debt

The woes of the Canadian Petaquilla Gold mining company continue to mount.

Already facing delisting from the Toronto Stock Exchange and with stories still circulating about alleged manipulation of its shares through an account held by Ricardo Martinelli in the now defunct Panama Pacific brokerage, a court has ordered the assets of the company seized for failing to pay a debt of $2 million.
