Credit card loans grow 3 percent in Nicaragua

Credit card loans in Nicaragua grew 3 percent year-on-year in December 2013.

The figure represents credit card loans worth $229 million.

The growth is attributed to a higher number of stores in Nicaragua that take credit card payments, the country's private banks association said.
