Crisis in the US creates uncertainty in Central America but no likelihood of an economic collapse, says World Bank
Wednesday, August 10, 2011

\
The US financial crisis “creates uncertainty in Central America because it can have a negative impact due to the level of trade dependency,” said Felipe Jaramillo, the regional World Bank director said.\
\
Jaramillo said that recent events will have a negative impact in Mexico and Central America.\
\
He added, however, that “we don’t believe this is going to cause a major fall in growth”, even though forecasts will have to be revised.\
