Cruise ship arrivals and passenger numbers double in El Salvador

As 2017 comes to a close, El Salvador Tourism has reported a 100 percent increase in the amount of cruise ship arrivals over 2016.

El Salvador has two main ports, Acajutla on the Pacific coast and La Unión on the eastern coast in the Gulf of Fonseca, a relatively undiscovered area of Central America.
