Cruise ships provide a major boost to tourism sector’s earnings in Honduras

The tourism industry of Honduras has achieved a major increase in arrivals and earnings in the first quarter compared with the same period of last year.

Most of the increase came from the arrivals of cruise ships.

Earnings in the first quarter came to $180 million, up from $166 million a year earlier.
