Cubans aim to boost tourism from Central America

A Cuban tourism mission finished a visit to Guatemala yesterday with aims of promoting Central American tourism to Cuba.

Officials from hotel chains, as well as from Habaguanex and Palco Business Group, made their respective presentations to officials from Guatemalan travel agencies, tour operators, airlines and the media.

The tour was described by officials as crucial to promote Cuba as a tourist destination in Central America, considered a potential strong market in the field.
