Customs union makes progress, but at snail's pace

El Salvador and Guatemala are making progress in talks about a customs union, but a lot more has to be done in uniting the whole of the region, says analysts.

Some say Cafta could be a model. A regional customs union would need to require a road map  for the hole of the process rather than joining several pieces.
