Deadly protest against land sales in Colón free zone

A clash between police and protesters left a 10 year-old child dead and nine other people wounded in the city of Colon, Panama last Friday.
The protests came after Congress approved a law that will allow the sale of state-owned land in the duty-free zone of Colon.
Edgardo Boitier, a labour leader in the city, said protests will continue until president Ricardo Martinelli rescinds the law.
