Decision looms on Panama convention center

In the next six days the Panama Tourism Authority will decide which company will finish the construction of the Amador convention center, a $194 million project.

The building is 35 percent complete. The original contract with the consortium HPC-Contrata-P&V called for it to be delivered in 2014, which was later extended to December 2015. No work has been done on the project in three months.
