Demand for credit to ease in Costa Rica this year

Demand for loans in Costa Rica, both in dollars and the national currency, the colón, is going to ease this year, according to the central bank.

Last year, demand for credit rose to growth of 11.6 percent. This year it is expected to be reduced to 7.9 percent this year and 7.7 percent next.
