Developer close to $220 million wind-farm loan for US Export-Import Bank

Project developers expect to close the debt financing supporting the construction of a wind farm in Honduras by year-end.

The US Export-Import Bank and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration are expected to close a $220 million debt financing supporting the construction of the 102-megawatt Cerro de Hula wind farm in Honduras by year-end.

The wind facility is expected to cost roughly $290 million to build.
