Digicel boosts growth in revenue to $2.2 billion

Digicel, one of Central America’s leading cellphone providers, posted revenues of $2.2 billion for the last financial year, representing a 12 per cent gain year-on-year.

Notably Digicel was able to increase its subscriber base by 15 percent to 10.8 million across 32 markets.

The Group has done well in its Central American markets. Company officials said that Honduras has proven challenging, while "Panama is going great”.
