Digicel boosts investment in El Salvador

Ireland's Digicel announced plans to invest about $40 million in El Salvador over the next 18 months, according to the company's chairman, Denis O'Brien.
The investment will be mostly directed towards improving customer services and information services in the country.
O'Brien also stated that Digicel, after carrying out market studies, has found potential to operate in El Salvador's fixed-line market.
