Dole Food compensates 5,000 banana workers

\ US-based Dole Food agreed to compensate more than 5,000 former banana workers from Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica that were affected by the use of pesticides.\ \ The out-of-court settlement benefited 3,153 Nicaraguans, 1,000 honduras and 700 Costa Ricans.
