Dollar decline raises alarm for Costa Rican companies

The decline in value of the US dollar against the colon is causing concern for Costa Rican producers.

Several industries have warned that the devaluation of the dollar is likely to force them to cut jobs.

Among the most affected are tourism companies and exporters of bananas and pineapples.
