Dollar is on the rise in Costa Rica, but is likely to settle down later

The value of the dollar against the local currency, the colón, is rising, but the crrent trend could give way to a more settled panorama.

Experts say that the current increase is being fuelled by a decline in the government’s income, private-sector financial exports and an increase in the nation’s import bill for oil and its derivatives.
