Doubts on economic plans of Costa Rican candidates

Thursday, February 15, 2018

With only six weeks to go for the second round of Costa Rica's presidential election, little information has emerged on the economic plans of Fabricio Alvarado, the candidate of the National Restoration party, though he is reported to be firming them up.

Meanwhile, the other runoff contestant is Carlos Alvarado, of Citizens' Action, currently the ruling party. He has a plan based on four years of government but many voters say fails to include what are the most pressing issues.
