Drought seen diminishing in Central America

The severity of a drought that has hit Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua is set to diminish, according to the United Nation's World Meteorological Organization.

The Organization added that if the effects brought by El Niño will be less than expected over the next six months.

Regional farmers said they hope the forecasts are correct, as it would help boost productivity.
