Duke could seek buyers for its regional power plants

Duke Energy of the United States is studying the possibility of selling its power plants in Central America.
 
In reply to a question during a conference call with analysts, a senior executive said that the company has plans to identify “monetize assets” from its Central American portfolio.
 
Duke has two power plants in El Salvador, and three in Guatemala.
