Duke Energy to sell its assets in Latin America

The sluggish economic prospects for Latin America have persuaded Duke Energy of the US to sell its assets in the region. The sale is expected to realize some $2 billion, according to Bloomberg.

The assets are mainly located in Brazil, but they also include projects in El Salvador and Guatemala.
