The 50 Megawatt San Marcos wind project in Honduras has secured $127 million in finance, said Dutch development bank FMO.
FMO is one of a group of international lenders to back the wind farm, which will use 25 Gamesa G90 turbines.
The plant is being developed by local conglomerate Grupo Terra on a site near the Nicaraguan border in Honduras' southwest.
