Eastern San José is new source of Costa Rica growth

For years the east of Costa Rica's capital was spurned by developers as they headed to the north and west of the Central Valley housing San José.

However, three eastern cantons of the capital are now among the top 10 in dynamism.

They are Curridabat, Goicoechea and Montes de Oca. Last year they recorded average growth of 85 percent last year.
